ACA-Pocalypse Master Classes
The Association of Chelmsford a Cappella is please to offer master classes during our ACA-Pocalypse weekend!
Our master class offerings will be taught by Distilled Harmony, our headliner co-ed performing group from Northeastern University. We also expect to offer classes run by Caleb Wheldon and other a cappella notables.
Please register today! Our group rate is $200.00 a group. However, these classes are open to anybody interested in improving their a cappella or chorus trade craft. The individual rate is $15.00 a person. Please consider joining us on Saturday, April 28th 2018 at the Performing Arts Center at the Chelmsford High School. Classes will run from 10:00 through 3:00. Transportation is not included. Adult chaperones requested for all school age groups participating in the classes.

So you want to arrange a song for your group but aren't sure how to go from idea to finished product? Distilled Harmony will guide you through the process. Learn how to listen for various music elements, how to choose syllables, and how to write in ways that highlights the strengths of your particular group.
Choreographed movement is a big part of a cappella competition. In this session, learn how to choreograph movements that are expressive, effective, and appropriate.
In this session, learn the basic elements of a percussion groove, including kick, snare, and cymbal sounds. Beginners will leave this session able to execute a versatile pattern that can be adapted for most popular songs. More advanced vocal percussionists will learn how to create interesting fills and add unique sounds to their repertoir

Master Classes with Distilled Harmony
Work with a skilled clinician on the performance areas that are most important to your group! Prepare a song or two to perform for members of Distilled harmony and receive feedback and suggestions to bring your performance to a higher level.
